1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Mocktopus, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
2. The service
Mocktopus is a domain-driven mock generation platform. You author domain models and generate mock datasets. The artefacts the product produces are yours to use under the licence below.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us at legal@mocktopus.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Pricing
V1 is free. There are no record limits, entity limits, or seat limits. Future tiers and pricing may be introduced for new capabilities — your access to features available in V1 will not be removed without notice.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the product to violate applicable law.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation.
- Reverse-engineer the service to build a competing product.
- Upload domain content that infringes a third party’s intellectual property.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to the domain models and mock datasets you create. You grant Mocktopus a limited licence to host, process, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service.
7. Generated artefacts
Mock datasets generated from your domain model are yours to use without restriction — in development, in CI, in production. The product does not assert any ongoing claim to those artefacts.
8. Availability
The service is provided on an “as is” basis. We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime commitment in V1. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages may occur.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice unless the violation requires immediate action.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mocktopus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product. Our total liability is limited to amounts paid by you in the previous twelve months (zero, while V1 is free).
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
